High Point Market Fall 2013 is in full force! It opened to industry leaders, designers and trend spotters
yesterday. I have been obsessively tracking down photos of the first glimpses from the market. There are always very talented style spotters working the market floors so people like me can live vicariously through them. So far, they have not disappointed with their finds.
Here are some of my faves:
Drexel Heritage Console upholstered with a pink & orange embroidered patterned natural linen fabric. Great find Janel. Janel is the executive editor of Apartment Therapy and was selected as one of
High Point Markets Style Spotters for the October 2012 market.
Century Furniture coral lacquer new traditional "dressing chest." Julia is known for her love of antique artifacts and as one of the well-known Material Girls (
materialgirlsblog). She is also a
High Point Market Style Spotter this fall.
Wesley Hall Showroom. A rendition of a Louis 16th chair, alpine white painted finish with Dwell Studios for Robert Allen emerald green Malachite fabric. This was spotted by Lisa Mende of
Lisa Mende Designs. And guess what? She is also a Style Spotter for High Point Market. You can find her finds
here.
C.R. Laine does not disappoint! Per Lisa Mende: "The chevron is as popular as ever! Style 205-SW "Simon" swivel in Limitless Coco fabric designed for Kravet by Jonathan Adler. The 1 1/2" band of kiwi colored tape added at the base of the chair adds the finishing detail to make this chair a must have. The linear contrast of the green tape to the brown and white zigzag geometric completes the look with the hot color".
Tozai Home blends wonderful color with plaid.
Chelsea House. Tracery Mirror designed by Lisa Kahn-Allen. Spotted by Lisa Mende
Parsons tables from Bungalow 5 in great finishes - navy grasscloth & rosewood veneer. (And hey...look at the wallpaper in the background! That's Meg Braff's Up in a Tree Bamboo Green from my
mudroom. I'm liking that blue lacquer dresser they paired with the kelly green. Makes me want that
navy pagoda mirror even more!).

I'm excited to see more photos from the feet on the ground. #hpmkt just kicked off yesterday and will continue until October 18th. I am sure we'll be seeing many more exciting things.
Do you have a favorite so far? I'm loving that Dwell studio Malachite showroom!
