Welcome to my guest bedroom. This room has taken on several iterations. Initially, it was my daughter's bedroom but when she expressed a desire to style her own room (just after I had wallpapered the ceiling), I suggested the empty room down the hall as her new bedroom and she jumped at the opportunity. That's how this room became the guest room.
I never take my decorating too seriously. I love to find unique light fixtures and elements that will make a statement in a room. The Dutton Sputnik light in this room with turquoise spools is a real show stopper in this room. As if it wasn't enough to have this over the top light, I also wallpapered the ceiling in Meg Braff's Navy Swirls. The wall color is navy with Kate Spade custom shades on the windows.
