Crazy About Contrast Welt

Contrast welting on a piece of furniture adds extra detail
that gives a custom designed appearance.

In this day and age, manufacturers are
designing products that already have a contrast welt added,
no customization needed

This adds a perfect exclamation point of color!

Take a look at some 'off the shelf' products that have this custom appearing contrast welt!

Green with Envy

In my twenties, I'd celebrate St. Patty's day with cheap green beer and Celtic dancing.

Now, in my thirties*, I celebrate by searching for green home decor.

(*hey, I don't turn forty til August).

Here are some fun ideas to make you green with envy...

1. Layla Grayce Tufted Bench

2. Mirasol by Matouk (starting at $99)

3. Rwandan Ruma Emerald Bracelets at Serena and Lily $145

4. Dwell Studio Home Green Zebra Pillow $72

5. Bungalow 5 Claire Spring Green Mirror at Layla Grayce $541

6. Green Chevron Vanity Tray at Furbish $40

7. C Wonder Monogram 'J' Plate $38

8. See comments below

9. Chevron Green Frame at Furbish $28

See #8: What a fun way to celebrate a back stair case.  Pick your favorite hue and paint each
spool a varying shade darker
than the next.  I love this fun idea.
It gives personality to a staircase.

Golden Girl Glory

Remember Dorothy, Blanche, Rose and Sophia?
Ah, the glorious Golden Girls spent their retirement lounging in their Florida condo drinking coffee and gossiping.

I love vintage Palm beach decor...
basket weave and palm leaves
trellis and wicker

There's something nostalgic yet refreshing about it.

Like Betty White,
never quite goes out of style...

There are ways to create this
beachy-vintage-Palm-Beach-retro feeling in your own home

Imperial Trellis Wallpaper from Layla Grayce $460/roll

Blue and Green Ikat Setee $1000
(Furbish.com)

X Bench with Dark Wood
Upholstered Kelly Wearster for Schumacher
Green Bengal Bazaar linen $850

Palm Beach Deco Chairs with Pink Piping $1800

Why not dabble a little of Sophia's feisty-ness or Blanche's Southern Sophistication in your home!?
