I'm thrilled to share with you some exciting news today.  Ya'll remember that I was a style contributor for Simply Baby's Nursery Styling Blog Party (recall here).    Well Simply Baby is celebrating a fabulous new brand launch and they are now Baby Cafe!  They have asked Vivid Hue Home to become a design expert for them.  And, the best news of all...

Twinkle Toes and Parties

This is a big weekend in our house.  The Vivster has her ballet recital and the entire fam is coming in to watch the show.  Vivi and her other four year old partners in crime have been practicing all year long for this monumental event.

Simply Baby Nursery Party #4

It's been fun to revisit baby nurseries with the Simply Baby Blog party these last few weeks. 
I surprised myself in my own nursery style and went traditional baby girl pink and baby boy blue when I decorated for my kids.

Also, an update on my xbenches (know ya'll are so tired of hearing bout these things, ha!). 
I took the advice from Elizabeth at The Little Black Door and Linda at Calling It Home and stitched the trim around the benches rather than hot gluing...(lord knows I avoid a needle and thread at any cost and have been known to safety pin buttons back onto pants rather than sew them).  But they reassured me that this will allow me to remove the trim at a later date if I decide it's too much pink.
