Maskros Mania

Via Picket Fence Design Fence Design
I'm obsessed with the Ikea Maskros.     Straight out of the box from Ikea, this pendant lamp offers white star burst shapes that will fill any room with excitement.    I first spotted the Maskros in a baby nursery after it had been painted gold.  It caught my eye because it was so unique and fun and such an easy DIY project for such a reasonable price.  The Ikea lamp sells for $89.99 and the options are limitless to transform it into a unique decor accessory.

Some of the options....

1. Sputnik Chandelier (hard to see but has little cups attached to ends)

I am completely obsessed and determined to find a place in my home to put one!  Originally I was sold on the solid gold for my daughter's room, but I think the Pink and Gold Flower Chandy created from painted paper bowls would be fabulous in a little girl's room.  I love how it "ups" the creative factor even more than just spray painting the lamp.

Do you have a favorite?  Would you ever put one of these babies in your home?

Your blog looks great Heather! I haven't been blog reading in a couple of weeks and just now saw your changes. Very crisp. I like it!

Those lights are all really cool in their own right. If I had to pick....I'd go with the pink one with the lil cups. It's too adorable! I certainly hope you find room for one of these in your home!
