Accessorizing OKL Style

I was browsing through One King's Lane today and came across a hand full of colorful accessories that could add the perfect accent to a home.  Here are some of the fun things I discovered...

I was immediately drawn to the Indigo accents on this vintage telephone. Even if it's not functionally used as a telephone, it would be terrific sitting on a dresser on top of a stack of design books.  What a pop of color!

On Sale $199 OKL

I envision this delicate vintage french porcelain box in a master bedroom, sitting next to the night stand.  Or on the vanity in a make up area.  It could cover as a jewelry box but also adds a delicate introduction of color.  Too small to be the only accessory in its space, it would be great paired with a few vases, pin boxes, picture frames or books.

OKL $325

I love the fine details of this mini polka dot.  I searched for a duvet in this same print and it comes in red.  There is subtle pattern to this sham without being too in your face.  It would add an extra fine detail to a master bedroom.  Very understated, simple and simply wonderful.

D. Porthault Mini Confettis Standard Sham (Retail $200)
OKL $99

This side table would make a fun outdoor accent to a patio.  Just the hue for spring.  It could also be a night stand.  Put this on one side of the bed with a different complimentary nightstand on the other so it's not too much color or too "matchy matchy."

Three Hands Studded Moroccan Table (Retail $340)
OKL $149

Every home needs a lucky elephant.  The trunk in the air pointed up means good luck, good karma.  This would be fabulous on a bookshelf, set on a coffee table next to design books, on a console next to picture frames.  Even as a centerpiece on a table next to a vase of flowers.
Three Hands Happy Elephant Objet (Retail $40)
OKL $18

Lastly, with spring in the air I've got entertaining on my mind.  These lacquer trays are a must for entertaining with style.  All four trays for $55!  They could be used individually or together at a party.  Outside or inside.  What about setting them right next to each other across the entire length of the table?  No need for a table cloth with these colorful trays!

Put on a coffee table with a fun arrangement of flowers.  Or stack books and picture frames on top.  The possibilities with these are endless.  I have a serving tray hording fetish so I'm trying desperately to keep from picking these up for myself.
Wood Trays, Set of 4 (Retail $120)
